This study investigated the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity of adventitious roots (AR) of Guyanese mangrove Avicennia germinans, used in folk traditional medicine (FTM). Using bio-guided fractionation, we searched for extracts with activities that can be used for therapeutic purposes.
