Cryoablation for AVNRT: Importance of Ablation Endpoint Criteria

Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, 2012
Cryoablation for AVNRT. Background: For ablation of atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT), cryoablation has been shown to be a safe alternative to radiofrequency ablation. However, previous studies have shown a higher recurrence rate with cryoablation compared to radiofrequency ablation. Objective: This study reviewed our experience using

Adrenaline Versus Atropine for AVNRT Induction

2019
AVNRT is the most frequent form of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. In French the term is TRIN (tachycardie par reentre intra-nodale) and in English AVNRT (atrioventricular node reentrant tachycardia). It can be induced in the EP lab by atrial or ventricular stimulation in the basal state or after drug administration.

THE EFFECTS OF AVNRT ABLATION ON THE CONDUCTION SYSTEM

Eskisehir Medical Journal, Eskisehir City Hospital
Introduction: Atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) is one of the most common types of narrow QRS complex supraventricular tachycardias. Catheter ablation is considered one of the most effective treatment methods for AVNRT due to its high success rates and low complication risks.

A Standardized Zero‐Fluoroscopy, 3D‐Guided Workflow for AVNRT Ablation With Same‐Day Discharge: PICENO AVNRT Approach

Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology
ABSTRACT Introduction Slow‐pathway ablation for atrioventricular nodal re‐entrant tachycardia (AVNRT) is highly effective but carries a small risk of atrioventricular block. A fully standardized, safety‐driven 3D‐guided workflow tailored to AVNRT ablation has not been clearly defined.
