A review of the equine suspensory ligament: Injury prone yet understudied
Abstract The suspensory ligament (SL) is a key component of the elaborate and highly adapted suspensory apparatus in the horse. In addition to contributing to stabilisation of the metacarpophalangeal joint, the SL has a spring like function to reduce the energetic cost of locomotion.

Abstract Background Limited reports in the literature are available regarding desmitis of the palmar/plantar ligaments of the proximal interphalangeal joint (PL‐PIPJ); the clinical significance of such injuries is unknown. Objectives To describe the ability to differentiate the PL‐PIPJ on low‐field magnetic resonance (MR) examination.

Non-symmetry of a hydraulic fracture due to the inhomogeneity of the reservoir [PDF]
It is usually assumed that hydraulic fracture has two symmetrical wings with respect to the fluid injection point. Hence, authors limit themselves to modelling of one half of the fracture. In our work we demonstrate that the case of a symmetrical fracture occurs only in a homogeneous reservoir with constant physical parameters and confining {\it in ...

Evaluation of the performance of ChatGPT‐4 and ChatGPT‐4o as a learning tool in endodontics
Abstract Aims The aim of this study was to evaluate the accuracy and consistency of responses given by two different versions of Chat Generative Pre‐trained Transformer (ChatGPT), ChatGPT‐4, and ChatGPT‐4o, to multiple‐choice questions prepared from undergraduate endodontic education topics at different times of the day and on different days ...

Avulsion Fractures at the Base of the 2nd Metacarpal Due to the Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus Tendon: A Case Report and Review of the Literature [PDF]
Introduction: Simultaneous contraction of the extensor carpi radialis longus (ECRL) with forced hyperflexion of the wrist can result in avulsion of the tendon and its bony attachment at its insertion at the dorsum of the base of the second metacarpal ...

Modified basket plate for inferior patellar pole avulsion fractures—A report of three cases [PDF]
In patients who have sustained an avulsion fracture of the inferior patellar pole, the extensor mechanism is disrupted and should be repaired. The normal height of the patella can be maintained by preserving the patellar pole, but fractures of the ...

Abstract Aim To develop a 3D‐printed model enabling treatment simulation of trauma‐related endodontic and restorative procedures like revitalization or placement of an apical plug on teeth with incomplete root formation. Methodology To generate a realistic training model suitable for trauma‐related simulations, CT‐Data sets were segmented, combined ...
