Forced response prediction for industrial gas turbine blades [PDF]
A highly efficient aeromechanical forced response system is developed for predicting resonant forced vibration of turbomachinery blades with the capabilities of fully 3-D non-linear unsteady aerodynamics, 3-D finite element modal analysis and blade root ...

Axial fan blade vibration under inlet cross-flow
In thermal power plants equipped with air-cooled condensers, axial cooling fans operate under the influence of ambient flow fields. Under inlet cross-flow conditions, the resultant asymmetric flow field is known to introduce additional harmonic ...

Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer in Duct Fan Flows with Top-wall Rectangular-wing Turbulators [PDF]
Fluid flow and heat transfer in duct fan flows with a 90° rectangular-wing turbulator, mounted on the top duct wall, were experimentally studied and compared with the bottom-wall turbulator results. Threecomponent velocities were measured to characterize

The water permeability of amorphous carbon dots (CDs) is demonstrated by investigating their plasticization. Novel polyamide‐based and amorphous nanoparticles are synthesized by controlling their inner packing density. Water plasticization is evidenced by the decrease of the CDs glass transition temperature with increasing the hydration degree.

In this work, low bandgap (≈1.55 eV) semitransparent perovskite solar cells (ST‐PSCs) having thin (thickness < ≈100 nm) perovskite layers and transparent conductive oxide‐based rear electrodes are fabricated using vacuum‐deposition methods. Two different ST‐PSCs demonstrated a high light utilization efficiency value of 4.2 (PCE: 9.26% and AVT: 45.3 ...

Energetic Offset in Organic Solar Cells‐ Importance, Confusion and Outlook
Energetic offsets in organic solar cells (OSCs) remain a subject of debate due to measurement‐ and lab‐dependent discrepancies. This Perspective clarifies the physical origins of these variations and identifies temperature‐dependent electro‐optical methods as a reliable approach to obtain consistent offset values.
