Summary C–N axially chiral skeletons are ubiquitous in bioactive natural products, pharmaceuticals, and chiral ligands. However, their atroposelective synthesis remains a formidable challenge because of their innate low configurational stability compared

A Review of Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Machine Technology
IEEE transactions on industry applications, 2023Axial flux permanent magnet machines (AFPM) are popular for applications that benefit from high torque density and an axially compact form factor, such as in-wheel traction drives.

Axial-DeepLab: Stand-Alone Axial-Attention for Panoptic Segmentation
European Conference on Computer Vision, 2020Convolution exploits locality for efficiency at a cost of missing long range context. Self-attention has been adopted to augment CNNs with non-local interactions. Recent works prove it possible to stack self-attention layers to obtain a fully attentional

Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is a chronic inflammatory disease predominantly of the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) and the spine. It starts normally in the second decade of life and has a slight male predominance. The prevalence is between 0.2% and 0.8% and is strongly dependent on the prevalence of HLA-B27 in a given population.

✓ A technique for visualization of the axial ventricular structures has proved to be useful in stereotaxic surgery. The method incorporates a surgical approach through a coronal burr hole, a Seletz rubber ventricular cannula for catheterization, Conray as the contrast medium, and an x-ray technique in which the tube and not the patient's head is mobile.

Gouty involvement of the spinal column is not as rare as generally perceived. Tophaceous gout involving the spinal column is a well-documented cause of myelopathy and frank cord compression. It takes several years of gout before bony destruction is radiologically apparent.

To review current understanding of the prevalence, clinical features, outcome measures and recent therapeutic trials in axial psoriatic arthritis (axPsA).The prevalence of axPsA is estimated at 40-50%. However, the definition of axPsA remains unclear, therefore these estimates may be inaccurate. Ax PsA appears to be distinct from ankylosing spondylitis
