Influence of Geometric Design on Mechanical Performance of Auxetic Metastructure
Strategic geometric reinforcement transforms auxetic performance. This study evaluates 3D‐printed arrowhead metastructures, revealing that a modified design with local ring reinforcement suppresses premature failure to achieve superior energy absorption and structural efficiency.

A Dislocation Perspective on Strength and Toughness in Ceramics
Dislocations in ceramics enjoy a long but yet under‐appreciated history. The three research waves for dislocations in ceramics highlight the topic evolution over the last 90 years. This review focuses on the impact of dislocation on strength and toughness in ceramics.

Flow Visualization around Axial Flow Fan Blades
In this paper, we established a method of flow visualization around the wing of an axial fiow fan by use of a drum camera, which could measure the velocity distribution around the wing by overlapping the measurement results of the time-line and the stream-line obtained from the spark trace and the smoke wire respectively.

Image analysis of an air flow around an axial flow fan
One of difficulty of particle tracking velocimetry (PTV) applying to air flow measurement is the detection and tracking of high speed fine tracer particles to the digital image. Tc capture and to track particle's images, an unique multi-illumination technique and a particle tracking algorithm are developed, and the technique has been applied to the ...

Titanium Suboxides Responsible for Electronic Anomaly Near Room Temperature in the Ti3C2Tx MXene
Our multi‐technique study reveals that the near‐room‐temperature anomaly in Ti3C2Tx MXene is linked to titanium suboxide nanodomains, including Ti3O5, embedded within the MXene host. Their temperature‐driven transformation provides an alternative explanation to solvent‐ and swelling‐based models and offers new insight into the thermally activated ...
