Drift capacity and allowable axial load level of RC columns
© 2023 Institution of Structural EngineersIn this study, a new model is developed to estimate lateral deformation capacity or drift ratio of RC columns. This new model is applicable to all columns having greater shear capacity than demand. With this simple method, a new upper limit for axial load level of columns concerning drift demand and column ...

This study evaluated the effects of instability on the EMG activity of scapular stabilizing and upper limb muscles during exercises with axial and rotational load. Twenty male volunteers (20.9 ± 1.8 years, 174.1 ± 0.04 cm, 73.17 ± 8.77 kg) experienced in strength training participated in a crossover design.
