Canonical forms for axial symmetric space-times

Annals of Physics, 1980
The general canonical forms for axial symmetric space-times are investigated. Special forms such as static, stationary and cylindrical are considered. Our results are based only upon the symmetries assumed, not upon the field equations; thus they are applicable to vacuum, electromagnetic and matter field problems. In particular, we find a term that was

Quality certification standard proposal ⬓SpACE⬽ for axial spondyloarthritis treatment units

Reumatología Clínica (English Edition), 2022
Axial spondyloarthritis is an immune-mediated disease with a high cost, diagnostic delay and associated complications that makes it a particularly important condition. This work aims to establish a certification standard (SpACE Project) for monographic consultations in its diagnosis and treatment.Qualitative study of consensus, through the technique of

Axially tapered fields in cylindrical spaces

1992. Digests of Intermag. International Magnetics Conference, 1992
Devices that employ electron-beam tubes require magnetic fields for beam focussing and guidance. Sometimes the required field is one which varies either in magnitude or direction along the principle beam axis. For certain micro/mm wave sources, an axial field variation of an longitudinal field is required.

On non-static axially symmetric space-time

General Relativity and Gravitation, 1971
In this paper the general non-static axially symmetric line element has been considered in the context of Petrov Classification. The space-time is found to be of various Petrov Types under different circumstances. The necessary algebraic conditions for such a space-time to be of class one have also been derived.

Adaptive State Space Control for Axial Winders

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1987
Abstract The stationary and dynamic behaviour of axial winders will be investigated. Axial winders are normally used in multimachine-drive-systems. The single drives of this system are coupled by an elastic web of paper, or other material, which should be processed.

The axial model in curved space-time

Il Nuovo Cimento B Series 11, 1986
We study the axial model in a background gravitational field. Using the ζ-function regularization, we obtain explicity the anomalous divergence of the axial-vector current and the exact generating functional of the theory. We show that, as a consequence of a space-time-dependent metric, all differential equations involved in the theory generalize to ...
