Activated Clotting Time‐Guided Systemic Heparinization as One Component of a Stepwise Salvage Algorithm for Inadequate Internal Mammary Artery Flow in Microsurgical Breast Reconstruction

open access: yesMicrosurgery, Volume 46, Issue 7, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background The internal mammary vessels are commonly used as recipient vessels for free flap breast reconstruction. However, inadequate arterial flow may be encountered intraoperatively. A new old species of Tetracera (Dilleniaceae) from Espinhaço Range, Brazil

open access: yesNordic Journal of Botany, Volume 2026, Issue 10, October 2026.
Tetracera is the only genus within Dilleniaceae with a pantropical distribution. During efforts for a taxonomic revision of the neotropical species, we identified incongruences between application of names and their taxonomic identities, based on protologue and type specimen analysis. Here we describe a new species for the genus bearing a single carpel
