Exploring the associations of generalized trust, climate change conspiracy beliefs and freecycling: Empirical evidence from 34 cultures

open access: yesBritish Journal of Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract This study examined the relationships between generalized trust, climate change conspiracy beliefs and freecycling – a community‐based free‐item sharing pro‐environmental behaviour. It also explored the role of societal factors in relation to participation in freecycling, as well as how they are associated with these relationships.

Inferencing Space Travel Pricing from Mathematics of General Relativity Theory, Accounting Equation, and Economic Functions

open access: yesMathematics
This study derives space travel pricing by Walrasian Equilibrium, which is logical reasoning from the general relativity theory (GRT), the accounting equation, and economic supply and demand functions.

A theory of reference-dependent behavior [PDF]

open access: yes
Extensive field and experimental evidence in a variety of environments show that behavior depends on a reference point. This paper provides an axiomatic characterization of this dependence.

Extending reliability to intensive longitudinal data with the Kalman filter

open access: yesBritish Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract Reliability is central to how researchers approach measurement in standard, group‐based analyses of single‐time‐point data, yet this critical aspect is often overlooked in the analysis of repeated observations. Since its inception, reliability has been a between‐person concept, but we redevelop this notion for within‐person designs by ...

Bibliography: Set Theory with a Universal Set

open access: yes, 2005
This is a comprehensive bibliography on axiomatic set theories which have a universal set. (Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory, the most widely studied set theory, does not have a universal set.) This field presently includes three main areas of study: " ...

Non‐Rigid 3D Shape Correspondences: From Foundations to Open Challenges and Opportunities

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Estimating correspondences between deformed shape instances is a long‐standing problem in computer graphics; numerous applications, from texture transfer to statistical modelling, rely on recovering an accurate correspondence map. Many methods have thus been proposed to tackle this challenging problem from varying perspectives, depending on ...

On Tykhonov's theorem for convergence of solutions of slow and fast systems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 1998
Slow and fast systems gain their special structure from the presence of two time scales. Their analysis is achieved with the help of Singular Perturbation Theory.

Soft rough sets based on covering and their applications

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics in Industry
Soft rough based on covering S R C $\mathcal {S}RC$ theory has become a useful and well-known area of research in theories of uncertainty. The present work follows up on this flourishing research topic.

A system of axiomatic set theory—Part VI

open access: yes, 2017
Comparability of classes. Till now we tried to get along without the axioms Vc and Vd. We found that this is possible in number theory and analysis as well as in general set theory, even keeping in the main to the usual way of procedure.

Applied theory makeovers

open access: yesEconomica, EarlyView.
Abstract I argue that economists' distinction between ‘pure’ and ‘applied’ economic theory is often based on papers' stylistic markers rather than their methodology or scope. I illustrate this point with a model of price competition for boundedly rational consumers, due to Piccione and Spiegler. I first present its original, ‘pure style’ version.
