Non linear elastic axisymmetric deformation of membranes with torsion
Acta Mechanica, 1982In this paper we formulate the problem of finite axisymmetric inflation with a superposed finite twist applied to an initially cylindrical membrane of Mooney-Rivlin material sealed at both ends with rigid plugs. The system of differential equations is solved numerically.

Profiles of slightly deformed axisymmetric drops
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 1984Abstract An asymptotic solution to the Laplace equation of capillarity is developed for axisymmetric fluid/liquid interfaces at low Bond Number. The theory describes the profiles of various interfaces (sessile and pendant drops, liquid bridges) that are close to a spherical shape.

In the present chapter a near-rigid solid is defined. The concept is then introduced into gyrodynamics. After defining the properties of a suitable floating coordinate system, the latter is used to obtain suitable equations of gyrodynamics for deformable bodies.
