The axonometric projection in teaching practice
Because of the explicit, the axonometric projection is useful in engineering. But in the published books of mechanical drawing, only the characteristic and the drawing steps of the axonometric projection are focused on, and the forming method and the expression of the unapparent edges of object are not mentioned.

The axonometric projection in mechanical drawing
Axonometric projection is closely allied to view layout and projective transformation in CG. In the published books of mechanical drawing, there are few of the forming method about axonometric projection. This paper analyses the forming method by 3D graphic projective transformation in CG.

Interpretation of an axonometric projection of a polyhedron
Abstract This paper addresses some problems in interpretation of axonometric line drawings of polyhedrons, especially the problems of how much and what kind of further information is necessary to reconstruct uniquely the shape of objects from their axonometric line drawings. For line drawings which are precise, in the sense that vertices are drawn in

Isometric, Axonometric and Perspective Projection
Isometric projection is used to portray a solid by means of a single diagram. In chapter 3, isometric ‘drawing’ of simple objects is treated without attempting to introduce the isometric scale. When consideration is given to the foreshortening effect on the dimensions of an object which is portrayed isometrically this is termed isometric ‘projection ...
