2021The Ayyubid state that reigned in Egypt, Syria, Hejaz, Yemen and Anatolia between the 12th and 13th centuries, gained a respectable place in Islam history by defeating the Crusaders and liberating Jerusalem. It also became popular with the support it gave to the field of science and culture.
