Plasmonic Chiral Metasurfaces for Real‐Time Refractive Index Sensing and In Situ Monitoring of Thin Film Growth

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 6, Issue 3, March 2026.
A sensor based on a plasmonic chiral metasurface is fabricated via Layer‐by‐Layer assembly and grazing incidence spraying of silver nanowires, and integrated in a flow‐cell. It enables stable, real‐time circular dichroism measurements with high sensitivity toward refractive index changes of the surroundings.
