Space-borne SAR Three-dimensional Imaging by Joint Multiple Azimuth Angle Doppler Frequency Rate Estimation

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2018
Using azimuth beam steering, space-borne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) can observe from multiple azimuth angle in single pass. During multiple azimuth angle observation, the satellite orbit is equivalent to long three-dimensional (3-D) curvilinear array,

Event-by-event cumulants of azimuthal angles

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal C, 2022
AbstractWe further develop the recently proposed event-by-event cumulants of azimuthal angles. The role of reflection symmetry, permutation symmetry, frame independence, and relabeling of particle indices in the cumulant expansion is discussed in detail.

Estimation of Azimuth Angle Using an Ultrasonic Sensor for Automobile

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2023
A typical ultrasonic sensor has a major lobe that extends beyond 45 degrees. Because the wide beam of the ultrasonic sensor’s main lobe, which is used for straightforward distance measurement, has a low angular resolution, conventional methods such as incidence angle and linear angle measurements cannot accurately determine the azimuthal angle ...

Effects of Temporal Sampling Interval on the Moon-Based Earth Observation Geometry

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, 2020
The effects of temporal sampling interval on the moon-based earth observation geometry are analyzed in this study based on three observation angles, namely viewing zenith angle, solar zenith angle, and relative azimuth angle. According to the definitions

Effects of azimuthal angles on laser interference lithography

open access: yesApplied Optics, 2014
This paper discusses the effects of azimuthal angles on two-, three-, and four-beam laser interference. In two- or three-beam laser interference, periodic surface structures of lines or dots were obtained. In four-beam laser interference with the polarization mode of TE-TM-TE-TM, the modulation in a particular direction was formed and calculated.
