We conducted broadband dispersion survey by deploying two arrays of broadband ocean bottom seismometers in the northwestern Pacific Ocean at seafloor ages of 130 and 140 Ma.

Investigation of particle coherence in Pb+Pb collisions at LHC
The observed particle distributions in Pb+Pb collisions at LHC are investigated. Monte Carlo simulations of the azimuthal anisotropy i.e. flow, and transverse momentum spectra provide insights in e.g. hadron genesis and in medio scattering.

Crevasse-induced Rayleigh-wave azimuthal anisotropy on Glacier de la Plaine Morte, Switzerland
Crevasses and englacial fracture networks route meltwater from a glacier's surface to the subglacial drainage system and thus influence glacial hydraulics.

Azimuthal Anisotropy and Correlations in the Hard Scattering Regime at RHIC [PDF]
Azimuthal anisotropy ($v_2$) and two-particle angular correlations of high $p_T$ charged hadrons have been measured in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$=130 GeV for transverse momenta up to 6 GeV/c, where hard processes are expected to contribute significantly.

On the Relationship Between Oceanic Plate Speed, Tectonic Stress, and Seismic Anisotropy
Seismic radial anisotropy (the squared ratio between the speeds of horizontally and vertically polarized shear waves, ξ=VSH2VSV2) is a powerful tool to probe the direction of mantle flow and accumulated strain.

Optical Signature of Moiré Superlattices Formed by Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes
We discover optical signatures from bonded interfaces in twisted SrTiO3 moiré superlattices, including low‐frequency Raman vibrational modes and strong second‐harmonic generation, consistent with strong interlayer coupling inferred from cross‐sectional electron microscopy and ab initio calculations. ABSTRACT Moiré superlattices formed at the interfaces

Conventional Pn-wave imaging techniques, typically based on the ray theory, rely on Pn travel times to resolve the 2-D velocity and azimuthal anisotropy structures of the uppermost mantle. However, these approaches neglect the finite-frequency effects of
