Fluorenone and Fluorenemalononitrile‐Tethered Conjugated Microporous Polymers for Efficient CO2 Uptake and Rhodamine B Removal

open access: yesMacromolecular Rapid Communications, EarlyView.
TPET‐F2CN CMP exhibited higher CO2 uptake (2.88 mmol g−1 at 273 K) and superior Rhd B adsorption, with an equilibrium capacity of 98.12 mg g−1 and a maximum monolayer capacity of 155.6 mg g−1. ABSTRACT Herein, two conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs), TPET‐FO and TPET‐F2CN, are functionalized with carbonyl and nitrile groups.

Unraveling Pathway Complexity in Photoreversible Supramolecular Hydrogels: Real‐Time Visualization and Sub‐Micrometric Photopatterning

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This research demonstrates real‐time visualization of supramolecular sol‐gel transitions using Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM). By leveraging 5D visualization, integrating 3D space, time, and polarity resolution, we achieved maskless sub‐micrometric photopatterning within the gel matrix.

Polypyrrole Nanofibrous Aerogel for Pressure Sensing and Anionic Contaminant Remediation

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Nanofibrous aerogels (NFAs), highly porous ultralow‐density networks of entangled nanofibers, are conformally coated with polypyrrole (PPy) to provide a multifaceted material platform. Leveraging NFA's high surface area and mechanically robust structure with the conductive properties of PPy enables pressure‐responsive sensing for flexible electronics ...

External resistance as a potential tool for influencing azo dye reductive decolourisation kinetics in microbial fuel cells

open access: yes, 2014
Azo moieties of polar and highly charged azo dyes are thought to undergo reductive degradation into constituent amines in the extracellular milieu of bacterial cells due to their inability to penetrate into cellular interior.

Programmable Chirality Transfer: Seeding‐Directed Co‐Assembly of Functional Molecules With Amyloid Frameworks

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Seeding‐directed co‐assembly enables efficient chirality transfer from chiral amyloid scaffold to achiral functional molecules. Controlled assembly pathways result in hierarchical hybrid supramolecular structures showing enhanced induced electronic circular dichroism (IECD) and/or vibrational circular dichroism (IVCD).
