We report a case of a "migrating" azygos vein developing after an abrupt spinal deformity adjacent to the azygos arch. A woman with a previously identified azygos lobe had a follow-up chest computed tomography that demonstrated the azygos vein dislocated medially to the fissure in its usual mediastinal position. The azygos lobe was intact.

Archives des maladies du coeur et des vaisseaux, 1981A case of azygos vein aneurysm is described. It is a very rare condition, this being the tenth reported case. The patient presented with superior vena cava obstruction and underwent successful surgical cure. This congenital malformation is practically always latent.
