Dorsal Posterior Parietal Cortex Lesions Disrupt Spatial- but Not Motor-Based Inhibition. [PDF]
Spatial and response inhibition are different types of inhibition processes that can be separately assessed in two saccade tasks: inhibition of return and stop signal. Optic ataxia patients performed similarly to controls on the stop signal task but did not show normal inhibition of return.

Modulating the Swelling Behavior of Polymer Brushes via Interfacial Chemistry
Modulating substrate surface chemistry of surface‐grafted polymer brushes via variation of the chemical composition of spacers that anchor initiators for surface‐initiated atom transfer polymerizations allows to tune swelling of these thin polymer films.

We synthesize and characterize a series of well‐defined anilido–imine Fe(II) alkyl complexes that demonstrate high activity and selectivity in the cyclohydroamination of unprotected primary amines tethered to unactivated alkenes. By tuning the steric and electronic parameters of the anilido–imine ligand, we develop a catalyst that outperforms ...

Ever‐growing human activities present an active and continuing threat to many species throughout the world. Nevertheless, concerted conservation efforts in some regions have balanced these threats and allowed endangered species to recolonise former parts of their original ranges and reverse their decline.
