Exceptional smooth Bol loops

One new class of smooth Bol loops, exceptional Bol loops, is introduced and studied. The approach to the Campbell-Hausdorff formula is outlined. Bol-Bruck loops and Moufang loops are exceptional which justifies our consideration.

Droplet to soliton crossover at negative temperature in presence of bi-periodic optical lattices

It is shown that the phenomenon of negative temperature essentially occurs in Bose-Einstein condensate due to the realization of the upper bound energy state utilizing a combination of expulsive harmonic oscillator and optical lattice potentials.

A controllable alloying–dealloying strategy constructs PtNi core–shell nanoparticles confined within an N‐doped carbon framework. Selective ammonia‐assisted dealloying forms a Pt‐rich shell while immobilizing Ni as Ni–N/C moieties, synergistically stabilizing the catalyst.

Integration of High‐p, Low‐T CO2 Electrolysis with Pressure Swing Adsorption Purification

We evaluate a high‐p low‐T CO2 electrolysis (LTCE) cell with a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) to compare cascade vs. recycle operation. Although a cascade yields high CO selectivity but limited yield, a full recycle achieves near‐quantitative CO production, highlighting gas recycling as essential for LTCE/PSA systems.
