Analysis of clinicopathological and cytogenetic differences between B-lymphoblastic lymphoma and B-lymphoblastic leukemia in childhood

Although considered the same disease by 2016 WHO Classification, B-ALL and B-LBL show different clinicobiologic behavior, with B-ALL manifesting as disseminated disease and B-LBL as a localized mass. Distinction between the two is based on an arbitrary cutoff of 25% bone marrow involvement.

A case of burkitt-like B lymphoblastic lymphoma

A case of burkitt-like B lymphoblasit lymphoma is reported. The patient (29 years old) underwent surgery because of a left inguinal mass. Histological examination was performed and the mass diagnosed as B lymphoblastic lymphoma. A the present the cas is under study in order to determine the stage, the cromosomic pattern and a possible HBV infection.
