Gap Metric Robustness of Adaptive Controllers
We consider the construction of adaptive controllers for minimum phase linear systems which achieve non-zero robustness margins in the sense of the (linear) L2(0,∞) gap metric. The gap perturbations may be more constrained for larger disturbances and for

PROJECTIVE CHANGE BETWEEN RANDERS METRIC AND EXPONENTIAL (A, B)-METRIC [PDF]
In this paper, we find the conditions to characterize projective change between two (A, B)-metrics, such as exponential (A, B)-metric, and Randers metric L=A+B on a manifold with dim n > 2, where A and A are two Riemannian metrics, B and B are two non ...

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Generalization of Fixed Point Theorem for φ- Contraction Mapping of a Fuzzy b- Metric Space
Let (X,W,T) be a fuzzy b- metric space, where X is a non-empty set, W is a fuzzy set on X×X×(0,∞) to [0,1], and T is a continuous t-norm, and let a function φ:[0,1]→[0,1] satisfies the following conditions: The function φ is strictly decreasing and ...

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

The early identification of detector locations in dependable software [PDF]
The dependability properties of a software system are usually assessed and refined towards the end of the software development lifecycle. Problems pertaining to software dependability may necessitate costly system redesign. Hence, early insights into the

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Interpreting the C-metric [PDF]
The basic properties of the C-metric are well known. It describes a pair of causally separated black holes which accelerate in opposite directions under the action of forces represented by conical singularities.
