Substitution of Fe3+ into anorthite in oxidized, Al‐deficient ferrobasaltic systems with implications for the petrogenesis of angrite meteorites

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, EarlyView.
Abstract Angrite meteorites are critically silica‐undersaturated igneous rocks with high Ca/Al and Fe/Mg, along with depletion in volatile lithophile elements Na and K such that they crystallize anorthite along with olivine and calcic pyroxene. The anorthite in angrites contains substantial Fe, and in NWA 1670 and NWA 1296, it is present at major ...

Temperature and Humidity Effects of Dispersion Medium on Evolution of Liquid-Drop Aerosol Parameters

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2015
A theoretical evaluation for the degree of temperature and humidity effects of dispersion medium on the evolution of liquid-drop aerosol parameters was represented in this work.

Contribution of Vasily Yakovlevich Tatsiy in the research of the object of crime

open access: yesТеорія і практика правознавства, 2016
Problem setting. At the moment, in Ukraine there are several different definitions of the object of crime. Many researchers studied looks of V.Y. Tatsiy at the subject of the crime, but for the first time systematically analyzed not only scientific views

A framework for tropical mirror symmetry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Applying tropical geometry a framework for mirror symmetry, including a mirror construction for Calabi-Yau varieties, was proposed by the author. We discuss the conceptual foundations of this construction based on a natural mirror map identifying ...

Microimaging Spectroscopy of Carbonaceous Chondrites and Comparison to the Spectral Diversity of Asteroids

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Planets, Volume 131, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract Primitive asteroids and carbonaceous chondrites (CCs) record the history of processes in the early solar system. Visible and shortwave infrared (VSWIR) spectroscopy of primitive asteroids and bulk‐powdered CCs has identified shared spectral features suggestive of shared parent body origins.

Reduction of Perioperative Blood Loss During Endoprosthetic Replacement of Large Joints

open access: yesОбщая реаниматология, 2011
Objective: to estimate changes in respiratory and circulatory functions in the acutest period in patients with pulmonary artery thromboembolism (PATE) without arterial hypotension during their first visit. Subjects and methods.

Stochastic integrals and asymptotic analysis of canonical von Mises statistics based on dependent observations

open access: yes, 2006
In the first part of the paper we study stochastic integrals of a nonrandom function with respect to a nonorthogonal Hilbert noise defined on a semiring of subsets of an arbitrary nonempty set. In the second part we apply this construction to study limit

A Novel Link Between Electron Transport Chain Modulation and mcl‐PHA Production in Pseudomonas aeruginosa 5300 Using Azide as a Modulator

open access: yesEnvironmental Microbiology Reports, Volume 18, Issue 1, February 2026.
The oleic acid and azide inhibited the cytochrome c oxidase activity in Pseudomonas aeruginosa MCC 5300, shifting the electron flux towards bd‐oxidase. This resulted in more NADH consumption to maintain the proton gradient for energy generation. The rapid depletion of NADH triggered high mcl‐PHA accumulation.

Erythropoiesis Stimulation in Patients with Postoperative Anemia

open access: yesОбщая реаниматология, 2013
Early treatment for anemia with epoietin (EPO) and intravenous iron after replacement of the large lower extremity joints permits an 8 g/l increment in hemoglobin concentration to be achieved by postoperative day 10 versus day 2.

Rare semileptonic meson decays in R-parity violating MSSM

open access: yes, 2006
We discuss rare meson decays $K^ + \to \pi ^ - \ell ^ + \ell '^ + $ and $D^ + \to K^ - \ell ^ + \ell '^ +$ ($\ell, \ell'=e, \mu$) in a supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model with R-parity violation.
