ABSTRACT In the present study, we have analyzed the growth profile of ruthenium (Ru) thin films, deposited using pulsed direct current (DC) magnetron sputtering technique, by varying the sputtering voltages in the range of 150–420 V. The grazing incidence X‐ray reflectivity (GIXRR), time‐of‐flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF‐SIMS), and atomic ...

Synthesis of B4C/YTZP Composite Powder and Studying Effect of its Addition on Mechanical Properties of B4C [PDF]
In this research B4C powder have been coated with yttria stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystalline (YTZP) (ZrO2 – 6wt% Y2O3) by using sol-gel method in order to obtain on composite powder (B4C core/ YTZP shell, 1/1 wt%).

Pulsed DC Sputter Deposition of Stable Turbostratic Boron Nitride Thin Films
Boron nitride (BN) films are deposited by sputtering from a boron target. During deposition, a substrate bias voltage is applied between the plasma and the sample, which reduces excess boron in the film and enhances the crystallinity. This process prevents the formation of boric acid and ammonium borate hydrate.

Development of Laterally Graded X‐Ray Multilayer Optics
This work presents the development of laterally graded X‐ray multilayer optics with both constant and variable lateral gradients. By precisely controlling substrate speed profiles and mask design, these multilayers achieve highly accurate lateral gradients and excellent sagittal thickness uniformity, making them ideal for spectroscopy application at ...
