Some mathematic functions regarding the optimum humidity for oats grown on a brown podzolic soil
In the present paper, some mathematic functions have been established concerning the optimum humidity for oats grown on a brown podzolic soil, fertilized or fertilized and limed. The experiments have been carried out in vegetation pots.

Lessons Learned: Quality Analysis of Optical Coherence Tomography in Neuromyelitis Optica
ABSTRACT Introduction Optical coherence tomography (OCT)‐derived retina measurements are markers for neuroaxonal visual pathway status. High‐quality OCT scans are essential for reliable measurements, but their acquisition is particularly challenging in eyes with severe visual impairment, as often observed in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders ...

Portable Low‐Field Magnetic Resonance Imaging in People With Human Immunodeficiency Virus
ABSTRACT Objective The aging population of people with HIV (PWH) raises heightened concerns regarding accelerated aging and dementia. Portable, low‐field MRI (LF‐MRI) is an innovative technology that could enhance access and facilitate routine monitoring of PWH.

Cosmological isotropic matter-energy generalizations of Schwarzschild and Kerr metrics
We present a time dependent isotropic fluid solution around a Schwarzschild black hole. We offer the solutions and discuss the effects on the field equations and the horizon. We derive the energy density, pressure and the equation of state parameter.

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

Reconsidering the black hole final state in Dirac fields
We extend Horowitz and Maldacena's proposal about black hole final state to Dirac fields and find that if annihilation of the infalling positrons and the collapsed electrons inside the horizon is considered, then the nonlinear evolution of collapsing ...

ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Multiple sclerosis (MS) exhibits racially disparate rates of disease progression. Black people with MS (B‐PwMS) experience a more severe disease course than non‐Hispanic White people with MS (NHW‐PwMS). Here we investigated structural and functional connectivity as well as structure–function decoupling in the ...

Equilibrium thermodynamics in modified gravitational theories
We show that it is possible to obtain a picture of equilibrium thermodynamics on the apparent horizon in the expanding cosmological background for a wide class of modified gravity theories with the Lagrangian density $f(R, \phi, X)$, where $R$ is the ...

Objective Asymptomatic hyperuricemia is a precursor of gout and is also associated with cardiovascular disease and chronic kidney disease. The aim of this study was to understand perceptions about asymptomatic hyperuricemia and views about urate‐lowering therapy in people with asymptomatic hyperuricemia. Methods Participants in a multinational study of

Objective We evaluated the role of 25‐hydroxyvitamin D (25[OH]D), prednisone, and other risk factors for bone mineral density (BMD) loss and osteoporosis in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Methods We calculated the association between 25(OH)D levels and other potential risk factors and BMD measures (spine T scores) and osteoporosis (defined as a T ...
