B?J/?(?,K) Decays within QCD Factorization Approach [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sciences, Islamic Republic of Iran, 2010
We used QCD factorization for the hadronic matrix elements to show that the existing data, in particular the branching ratios BR ( ?J/?K) and BR ( ?J/??), can be accounted for this approach.

Living Low and Dry: Costs of and Resilience to Soil Hydric Stress in a Fossorial Amphisbaenian Reptile

open access: yesIntegrative Zoology, EarlyView.
Soil drought imposes moderate, temporary costs on a strictly fossorial amphisbaenian reptile. However, these animals seem to cope with, at least, moderately short droughts thanks to their peculiar adaptations to living in an underground environment. ABSTRACT The physiological traits of animals can be strongly influenced by climatic fluctuations, and ...

Final State Interaction Effects in B+→J/ψ π+ Decay [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sciences, Islamic Republic of Iran, 2014
In this research the exclusive decay of                         is calculated by QCD factorization (QCDF) method and final state interaction (FSI). First, the  decay is calculated via QCDF method. The result that is found by using the QCDF method is less

B-meson decay constants: a more complete picture from full lattice QCD [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
B , B s and B c . We use improved NonRelativistic QCD for the valence b quark and the Highly Improved Staggered Quark (HISQ) action for the lighter quarks on gluon eld congurations that include the eect of u=d, s and c quarks in the sea with u=d quark ...

Body Size Regulates Niche Overlap Asymmetry in the Subtropical Andes Rain Shadow: Isotopic Paleoecology of Oligocene South American Ungulates

open access: yesIntegrative Zoology, EarlyView.
This study provides the first isotopic analysis of Oligocene mammals from Quebrada Fiera, Mendoza, Argentina, filling a major gap in South American paleontology. It reveals a latitudinal gradient in aridity due to the Andean rain shadow and highlights the role of (semi)permanent water bodies in sustaining diverse herbivore communities. Additionally, it

Pseudoscalar or vector meson production in non-leptonic decays of heavy hadrons

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2018
We have addressed the study of non-leptonic weak decays of heavy hadrons ($$\Lambda _b, \Lambda _c, B$$ Λb,Λc,B and D), with external and internal emission to give two final hadrons, taking into account the spin-angular momentum structure of the mesons ...

Persistence and dynamic of forest snails in the Western Carpathians over the last 40 thousand years

open access: yesBoreas, EarlyView.
The glacial/interglacial cycles have shaped the landscape of temperate Europe for the past 2.5 million years, with open landscapes prevailing during the glacial and forested landscapes during the interglacial periods. However, the survival and recolonization strategies of temperate forest species during glacial phases remain poorly understood and hotly
