Exclusive semileptonic decays ofBmesons into light mesons

Physical Review D, 1994
Using heavy quark effective field theory, exponentiation of Sudakov double logarithms, and perturbative factorization theorems for exclusive processes, we calculate the amplitude for the semileptonic decay of mesons with a single, very heavy quark into \ensuremath{\pi} and \ensuremath{\rho} for a large hadronic recoil momentum.

Strange B mesons

1989
We have studied production of B* mesons at the ?(5S), detecting the quasimonochromatic photon from decay to the ground state. The observed signal is expected to be doppler broadened because of the motion of the B* d,u mesons from ?(5S) decays. The observed broadening is however considerably smaller than expected, and consistent with copious production ...

Semileptonic decays of B meson into charmed meson

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1989
Recent results on semileptonic decays of B meson into charmed meson using the CLEO detector at CESR are summarized. Ratios of the inclusive semileptonic branching fractions, B(B−→D0Xl−ν), B(B0→D+Xl−νXl−ν, and B(B0→D*+ average B meson semileptonic branching fraction are reported. The branching fractions of the exclusive final states, B−→D0l−ν, B−→D*0l−ν,

SU(6)Analysis of Mesonic of B-Mesons

Communications in Theoretical Physics, 1990
The SU(6) symmetry of strong interactions among light quarks is used to analyse two-body mesonic decays of B-mesons based on the Hamiltonian proposed by He-McKellar-Wu.

Hadronic B meson decays

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1989
Using the CLEO detector at CESR, we have measured branching ratios for various inclusive charmed hadron production including the Λc. We have also measured the exclusive branching ratios of several decay modes of the B meson. B0→D*+D− and D+D−s, and B−→D0D−s as well as B0→D*+ρ− have been observed for the first time. The mass difference between B0 and B−

Physics of B mesons

Reports on Progress in Physics, 1989
In this report I discuss the physics of B mesons which were first observed directly in 1986 through their full reconstruction. Emphasis is put on the experimental results on exclusive and inclusive B decays obtained since then by the e"e- experiments ARGUS at DESY and CLEO at Cornell.

Electroweak penguin decays of B mesons

Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2003
We report measurements of the electroweak penguin decays of B mesons at the Belle detector, based on a data sample containing 65 million . We perform a precise measurement of B → K * (892)γ and a search for the b → d γ decay. We also analyze the b → sl + l − process using exclusive and inclusive modes. We measure the inclusive b

D-meson and B-meson semileptonic decays

1994
Recent results for semi-leptonic decays of D and B mesons at beta = 6.4, using the Wilson action, and at beta = 6.0, using the Clover action, are reported.
