Chiral Perturbation Theory Beyond One Loop

open access: yes, 2006
The existing Chiral Perturbation Theory (ChPT) calculations at order $p^6$ are reviewed. The principles of ChPT and how they are used are introduced. The main part is a review of the two- and three-flavour full two-loop calculations and their comparison ...

A Reproducible and Scalable Process for High Yield Mesenchymal Stromal Cell Extracellular Vesicles Production

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Mesenchymal stem cell derived extracellular vesicles (MSC‐EVs) are a promising therapeutic tool for regenerative medicine. However, the field lacks a reproducible high‐yield production method to answer the quantities needed for clinical translation.

K_l3 form factors at order p^6 in chiral perturbation theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
This paper describes the calculation of the semileptonic K_l3 decay form factor at order p^6 of chiral perturbation theory which is the next-to-leading order correction to the well-known p^4 result achieved by Gasser and Leutwyler.

Topography‐Regulated Screening Platform for Myoblast Contact Guidance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study develops a topography‐regulated screening platform (12 gradients in 96‐topography‐well plate) enabling analysis of skeletal muscle morphogenesis. The topography‐induced cell morphology changed, cell polarization, and myotube differentiation, establishing an evaluative framework for generating pathologically relevant myotube phenotypes to ...

Identification and Characterization of Wheat Yellow Striate Virus, a Novel Leafhopper-Transmitted Nucleorhabdovirus Infecting Wheat

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2018
A new wheat viral disease was found in China. Bullet-shaped viral particles within the nucleus of the infected wheat leave cells, which possessed 180–210 nm length and 35–40 nm width, were observed under transmission electron microscopy. A putative wheat-

Transarterial Chemoembolization for Hepatocellular Carcinoma in Clinical Practice: Temporal Trends and Survival Outcomes of an Iterative Treatment

open access: yesFrontiers in Oncology, 2022
BackgroundTransarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is one of the most frequently applied treatments for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) worldwide. In this study, we aimed at evaluating whether and how TACE application and repetition, as well as the related ...

Conservative algebras of $2$-dimensional algebras, II

open access: yes, 2015
In 1990 Kantor defined the conservative algebra $W(n)$ of all algebras (i.e. bilinear maps) on the $n$-dimensional vector space. If $n>1$, then the algebra $W(n)$ does not belong to any well-known class of algebras (such as associative, Lie, Jordan, or ...

Time‐Controlled Refrigerated Stem Cell Therapy Mitigates Scleroderma Fibrosis via Modulation of Mitochondrial Autophagy and Gut Metabolism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study established an RT‐MSCs‐based therapeutic approach for scleroderma in mice. RT‐MSCs attenuated fibrosis by regulating mitochondrial autophagy and restored gut microbiota homeostasis. Metabolomic analyses confirmed recovery of key metabolites, and RT‐MSCs demonstrated favorable lesion targeting and safety profiles.

Reductions of Gauss-Codazzi equations

open access: yes, 2016
We prove that conformally parametrized surfaces in Euclidean space $\Rcubec$ of curvature $c$ admit a symmetry reduction of their Gauss-Codazzi equations whose general solution is expressed with the sixth Painlev\'e function.
