Infection risk in atopic dermatitis patients treated with biologics and JAK inhibitors: BioDay results

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Volume 39, Issue 12, Page 2056-2068, December 2025.
This cohort study of 1793 atopic dermatitis patients (aged ≥ 12) found higher infection rates with Janus kinase inhibitor treatment compared to biologic treatment, particularly for herpes infections, with a history of viral or fungal skin infection as a risk factor associated with infection.

Phase Engineering of Cobalt‐Based Perovskite Oxides Toward Enhanced Oxygen Evolution Electrocatalysis

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 12, Issue 22, November 5, 2025.
Water electrolysis offers a sustainable hydrogen production route, yet the kinetics for the anodic oxygen evolution reaction (OER) remain sluggish. Phase engineering via thermal reduction transforms hexagonal perovskite cobaltites into cubic structures, increasing oxygen vacancies and reducing cobalt valence.

Starting Point, Keys and Milestones of a Computer Code for the Simulation of the Behaviour of a Nuclear Fuel Rod

open access: yesScience and Technology of Nuclear Installations, 2011
The BaCo code (“Barra Combustible”) was developed at the Atomic Energy National Commission of Argentina (CNEA) for the simulation of nuclear fuel rod behaviour under irradiation conditions. We present in this paper a brief description of the code and the

Contrasting Genomic Responses of Hydrothermal Vent Animals and Their Symbionts to Population Decline After the Hunga Volcanic Eruption

open access: yesMolecular Ecology, Volume 34, Issue 21, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Genetic bottlenecks are evolutionary events that reduce the effective size and diversity of natural populations, often limiting a population's ability to adapt to environmental change. Given the accelerating human impact on ecosystems worldwide, understanding how populations evolve after a genetic bottleneck is becoming increasingly important ...
