A direct analysis method using sheath flow probe electrospray ionisation-mass spectrometry (sfPESI-MS) to detect drug residues from fingerprint forensic gel lifts. [PDF]

open access: yesDrug Test Anal
Sheath‐flow probe electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry is applied to detect drug residues from forensic gel‐lifted latent fingerprints. The sfPESI surface activity‐based separation mechanism helps resolve drug ions from background species improving detection sensitivity.
