A Vertically‐Stacked Optoelectronic Sensor for Localized Hemodynamics Monitoring
This work introduces a hemodynamics monitoring sensor that features vertically stacked microLEDs and a heterogeneously integrated photodetector. The vertically stacked microLEDs enable localized measurements, and by designing the interoptode distance according to the depth of the target region, this vertically stacked optoelectronic sensor is ...

Transducer Materials Mediated Deep Brain Stimulation in Neurological Disorders
This review discusses advanced transducer materials for improving deep brain stimulation (DBS) in neurological disorders. These materials respond to light, ultrasound, or magnetic fields, enabling precise, less invasive neuromodulation. Their stimulus‐responsive properties enhance neural control and adaptive therapy, paving the way for next‐generation ...

A 39-year-old man was woken by mid-thoracic back pain and sweating. The back pain resolved spontaneously over an hour, and he was left with epigastric discomfort. There were no other symptoms, no history of trauma, no past medical or family history of note, and he had not been abroad. He was a smoker and took no medications.
