Co- variation in soil biodiversity and biogeochemistry in northern and southern Victoria Land, Antarctica [PDF]
Data from six sites in Victoria Land (72–77°S) investigating co-variation in soil communities (microbial and invertebrate) with biogeochemical properties showthe influence of soil properties on habitat suitability varied among local landscapes as well as

Artificial Symbiosis for Bulk Production of Bacterial Cellulose Composites
Co‐cultivation of the cellulose‐producing bacterium with the microalga enables bulk formation of bacterial cellulose under static incubation, with photosynthetically active oxygen‐generating sites throughout the medium. This symbiotic platform supports 3D cellulosic constructs with geometries dictated by the vessel shape.

Effect of zooplankton-mediated trophic cascades on marine microbial food web components (bacteria, nanoflagellates, ciliates) [PDF]
To examine the grazing effects of copepod-dominated mesozooplankton on heterotrophic microbial communities, four mesocosm experiments using gradients of zooplankton abundance were carried out at a coastal marine site.

xx xx. ABSTRACT Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) is a chronic complication of diabetes, primarily caused by hyperglycemia, peripheral vascular disease, and neuropathy. Characterized by persistent hyperglycemia, impaired perfusion, inflammation, and infection, DFUs pose significant challenges to healing and are associated with high morbidity and amputation ...

Day-length is central to maintaining consistent seasonal diversity in marine bacterioplankton [PDF]
Marine bacterial diversity is vast, but seasonal variation in diversity is poorly understood. Here we present the longest bacterial diversity time series consisting of monthly (72) samples from the western English Channel over a 6 year period (2003-2008)

Diazotrophic Bacterial Community of Degraded Pastures
Pasture degradation can cause changes in diazotrophic bacterial communities. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the culturable and total diazotrophic bacterial community, associated with regions of the rhizosphere and roots of Brachiaria decumbens Stapf.
