An oxygen‐responsive living bioreactor was engineered via interspecies protoplast fusion, converting oxygen from an inhibitory stress into a programmable signal for sustained indole‐3‐propionic acid (IPA) production. This genetically encoded bioreactor enables robust aerobic operation and therapeutic efficacy of deoxynivalenol detoxification in vivo ...

Cell‐in‐Bead‐in‐Droplet Platform for pH‐Based Microfluidic Screening of Ureolytic Bacteria
Efficient high‐throughput microbial screening in droplet microfluidics is often challenged by chemical crosstalk between droplets. This is particularly difficult in pH‐changing biological processes, for which more effective biochemical assays are needed.

Large‐Scale Distribution of Physical Data Using DNA‐of‐Things Technology in Newspaper Printing
DNA‐of‐things technology enables stable data storage in large‐scale newspaper printing, with successful retrieval of 37 kB of digital data from a single ink dot containing approximately 14 femtograms of DNA. ABSTRACT DNA represents a promising solution for high‐density and long‐term data storage. In this study, we explore the scalability and robustness

IBD is driven by a vicious cycle of dysbiosis, barrier dysfunction, and immune dysregulation. We developed an inulin–butyrate conjugate nanogel (IBN) that accumulates in inflamed colon and releases butyrate via microbial inulinase/esterase. The inulin shell remodels the microbiome, while localized butyrate strengthens barrier integrity and promotes ...

Characterization of the dynamic microbiome evolution across thrips species
Comprehensive survey of the microbiome in thrips. The dominant bacterial genera found in thrips include intracellular ones, such as Wolbachia and Spiroplasma, and extracellular ones, including Serratia, Pantoea, and Acinetobacter. We isolated and sequenced high‐quality genomes of two dominant symbionts, Pantoea dispersa and Serratia marcescens.
