The potato psyllid, Bactericera cockerelli (Sulc) (Hemiptera: Triozidae), is a pest of potato, Solanum tuberosum L., and other solanaceous crops in North and Central America. This insect transmits Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum, the putative causal agent of zebra chip disease of potato.
