Nutraceutical Blends Promote Weight Loss, Inflammation Reduction, and Better Sleep: The Role of Faecalibacterium prausnitzii in Overweight Adults–A Double‐Blind Trial

This study explored how a 90‐day nutraceutical blend with prebiotics, minerals, and silymarin affects the gut‐brain axis in overweight adults. Results showed improved gut microbiota, reduced inflammation, and better sleep, mood, and quality of life, suggesting a strong link between gut health and mental well‐being.

Costa Rica has a significant number of snakebites per year and bacterial infections are often complications in these animal bites. Hereby, this study aims to identify, characterize, and report the diversity of the bacterial community in the oral and cloacal cavities of venomous and nonvenomous snakes found in wildlife in Costa Rica.

Severe Cytomegalovirus Congenital Infection With Neurological Compromise a Case Series Study in Mexico

Four cases of serious congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections are described in this report. All cases were diagnosed postnatally using cerebrospinal fluid (3/4) or blood PCR (1/4) and histochemical study of the placenta (4/4). All infants were born prematurely.
