Preparation of fine, hollow, spherical BaFe12O19 powders
Materials Chemistry and Physics, 1992Abstract Aerosol droplets of a 2 wt% aqueous solution of Ba and Fe(III) nitrates were used to prepare fine Ba-ferrite powders by pyrolysis at temperatures 800 K and 1300 K. The particles are spherical with a mean size of 0.1 μm, with the constituent nanocrystals taking on a characteristic hollow structure.

Nuclear magnetic resonance of 57Fe in BaFe12O19
Physics Letters A, 1968Abstract The nuclear magnetic resonance of 57 Fe has been studied in powdered single crystals of BaFe 12 O 19 using a spin-echo technique. Hyperfine fields associated with the various crystallographically inequivalent lattice sites have been identified.
