Permanently magnetic BaFe12O19 foams: Synthesis and characterization

Abstract In the present study, permanently magnetic barium ferrite foams synthesized using a replication technique were characterized. Structural analysis have shown that the products are single phase of BaFe 12 O 19 and pore sizes reach up to 1 mm in diameter with a significantly uniform distribution.
