Patterns of River Flow Regulation Across the World's Climate Regions
Hydrological Processes, Volume 40, Issue 5, May 2026.We quantify the Impoundment Ratio (IR) for 16 060 dams worldwide to assess how reservoir capacity relative to natural runoff varies across climate regions.
