Cereal fibres, black plum (jamun) seed powder and bioactive spices can be combined with controlled mixing, hydration and baking to design functional biscuits. Fibre‐rich structures may limit starch accessibility, while polyphenols may inhibit starch‐digesting enzymes.

The Unintended Consequences of Sugar‐Sweetened Beverage Taxes on Sales and Prices of Beer Beverages
ABSTRACT This paper estimates the causal effect of Berkeley's sugar‐sweetened beverage (SSB) tax on beer purchases and prices using retail scanner data from 2014 to 2015.
