We report electrochemical quantum capacitance spectroscopy as an ambient, in situ probe for defect‐mediated electronic structure at 2D material interfaces. Using monolayer MoS2, the method resolves band edges and vacancy states, tracks sulfur‐vacancy evolution during hydrogen evolution, and links interfacial density‐of‐states changes to nearly ...

Mimicking Human Perspiration: A Layered Microfluidic Skin Phantom With Tunable Hydrodynamics
A multilayer microfluidic skin phantom based on thermoplastic elastomers is developed to mimic human perspiration. Spatially controlled wettability enables capillary‐driven transport and controlled droplet formation at the surface, resembling sweat gland behavior.

Baker's yeast reduces 1,1,1-trifluoro-2,4-pentanedione with high regio- and enantio-selectivity to give (S)-5,5,5-trifluoro-4-hydroxy-2-pentanone. The enantiomeric excess was determined by Mosher's method and the absolute configuration was established by

BioEISense is a microfluidic device with integrated impedance sensors, for real‐time, label‐free monitoring of S. aureus biofilms. In this study, the biofilm culture conditions were optimized to support sensitive and reproducible detection of biofilm formation and eradication under dynamic flow‐through conditions. The system was also validated for both

MAPbBr3/rGO hybrids exhibit interfacial electronic restructuring that enhances charge extraction in photodetectors. The incorporation of rGO modifies the surface chemical environment, enhances electron‐dominated transport, and suppresses performance degradation, resulting in higher responsivity, detectivity, and photostability than in pristine MAPbBr3 ...

Note on the Peano-Baker Method of solving Linear Differential Equations [PDF]
In Mathematische Annalen, Vol. 32 (1888) Peano discusses the solution of a system of homogeneous linear differential equationswhere rij denotes a real function of the variable t, and shows how, by a series of repeated substitutions, this system of equations may be replaced by the equivalent equationwhere X denotes the complex [x1, x2, … xn] and R the ...

This work presents an innovative spin‐on SiOx‐assisted inkjet‐printed approach to form localized n+ and p+ poly‐Si/SiOx passivating contacts for high‐efficiency silicon solar cells within a single‐annealing step. The developed process results in a well‐defined interdigitated doping pattern, with unintended doping and cross‐doping concentrations ...

Technological aspects of managing the structural and mechanical properties of wheat bread crumb
This work is dedicated to the study of the structural-mechanical properties of wheat bread crumb 12 hours after baking and then every 24 hours during 108 hours of storage. The basis of this investigation was the study of the starch retrogradation process,
