Early joint attention abilities measured by the ADOS‐2 predict subsequent expressive language development in minimally verbal autistic children

Abstract Background Most preschool autistic children exhibit substantial language delays, yet only ∼25% remain minimally verbal (MV) throughout life. Developing expressive language is crucial for improving outcomes. This study examined early predictors of later expressive language growth in MV preschool autistic children.

Corrosion Inhibition of S275 Carbon Steel in CO2 Capture Systems Using Monoethanolamine (MEA) Solvent

Corrosion inhibitors CuSO4 and NaVO3 achieved up to 98% inhibition efficiency for carbon steel S275 in CO2‐loaded MEA solvent, reducing corrosion rates to 9.4 µm/year—outperforming costly stainless steel SS 316 L at a fraction of the cost. ABSTRACT Corrosion in CO2 capture units significantly impacts safety and costs.

Corrosion Behavior of Commercial FeCrAl and TiAl Alloys in Molten Pb With 2E‐7 wt% Oxygen at 600°C and 700°C

Excellent corrosion resistance of commercial Al‐containing materials is shown for exposures to liquid lead (Pb) at 600°C. However, oxide scale failure occurs at 700°C. The formed oxide scales and their failure mechanisms are explored. ABSTRACT Liquid lead (Pb) is an attractive heat transfer fluid for advanced thermal energy storage (TES) systems.
