Tailoring Laser Powder Bed Fusion and Post‐Processing Parameters for JIS SKD61 Tool Steels: Surface Roughness, Microstructure, and Mechanical Properties

Laser powder bed fusion of JIS SKD61 tool steel is systematically optimized using a Taguchi design and ANOVA. Hatch spacing and layer thickness are identified as dominant parameters controlling surface roughness and tensile strength. Agglomeration Behavior of Nonmetallic Particles on the Surface of Si‐Killed Liquid Steel Using HT‐CSLM: An In Situ Investigation

Oxide Scale Morphology of Carbon Steels Under Novel Reheating Conditions

This study focuses on the changes in oxide scale morphology formed under simulated hydrogen and oxy‐fuel reheating gas atmospheres in comparison to natural gas‐air reheating. Several different properties were analyzed, such as pore structure, ratios of iron oxides, adhesion, and distribution of alloying elements.
