FORCE BALANCE IN CURRENT SHEETS IN COLLISIONLESS PLASMA
In this paper, we derive a divergent form of the force balance equation for collisionless plasma in the quasineutrality approximation, in which the electric field and current density are excluded.

Venom peptides have shown promise in treating pain. Our study uses computer screening to identify a peptide that targets a sodium channel (NaV1.7) linked to chronic pain. We produced the peptide in the laboratory and refined its design, advancing the search for innovative pain therapies.

Variational balance models for the three-dimensional Euler-Boussinesq equations with full Coriolis force [PDF]
We derive a semi-geostrophic variational balance model for the three-dimensional Euler--Boussinesq equations on the non-traditional $f$-plane under the rigid lid approximation. The model is obtained by a small Rossby number expansion in the Hamilton principle, with no other approximations made.

Surfaceome: a new era in the discovery of immune evasion mechanisms of circulating tumor cells
In the era of immunotherapies, many patients either do not respond or eventually develop resistance. We propose to pave the way for proteomic analysis of surface‐expressed proteins called surfaceome, of circulating tumor cells. This approach seeks to identify immune evasion mechanisms and discover potential therapeutic targets. Circulating tumor cells (

The formula for generating stream function coefficients in terms of height coefficients developed from the linear balance equation wherein the dependent variables are expanded in solid harmonics has been analyzed and results show that for non-zonal waves the kinetic energy derived increases with decreasing scale.

Nonlocal balance equation: representation and approximation of solution [PDF]
We study a nonlocal balance equation that describes the evolution of a system consisting of infinitely many identical particles those move along a deterministic dynamics and can also either disappear or give a spring. In this case, the solution of the balance equation is considered in the space of nonnegative measures.

We quantified and cultured circulating tumor cells (CTCs) of 62 patients with various cancer types and generated CTC‐derived tumoroid models from two salivary gland cancer patients. Cellular liquid biopsy‐derived information enabled molecular genetic assessment of systemic disease heterogeneity and functional testing for therapy selection in both ...

Soliton-like Solutions of General Variable Coefficient Cylindrical/Spherical KdV Equation
The general variable coefficient cylindrical/spherical KdV equation has been investigated by using the simplified homogeneous balance method. It has been proven that if its coefficients satisfy certain constraint conditions, then the cylindrical ...

General Non-Local Continuum Mechanics: Derivation of Balance Equations
In this paper, mechanics of continuum with general form of nonlocality in space and time is considered. Some basic concepts of nonlocal continuum mechanics are discussed. General fractional calculus (GFC) and general fractional vector calculus (GFVC) are
