Use of balanced bipartite weighing designs as chemical balance designs
Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 1982This paper deals with the use of balanced bipartite weighing designs as chemical balance designs when there Is a restriction on the number of objects that can be placed on either pan..The variance of each estimated weight and the covarlance of each pair of estimated weights are worked out.The use of additional weighing when the design matrix is ...

The paper is studying the estimation problem of individual weights of objects using the chemical balance weighing design under the restriction on the number times in which each object is weighed. It is assumed that the errors have the same variances and they are equal correlated.

Balanced bipartite weighing designs leading to regular D-optimal spring balance weighing designs
2012W pracy przedstawiono nową metodę konstrukcji regularnego D-optymalnego sprężynowego układu z tarowaniem przy założeniu, że wariancje błędów pomiarów nie są jednorodne. Do konstrukcji macierzy układu wykorzystano macierze incydencji dwudzielnych układów bloków.
