Syphilitic Balanitis of Follmann: Laboratory Pitfalls
We report a case of early syphilis, presenting as balanitis and papular syphilides in an HIV-infected patient, with a previous history of syphilis infection, which demonstrated a false negative VDRL testing due to a prozone phenomenon.
