Insect Conservation and Diversity, EarlyView.Forest clearings support butterfly communities comparable to mountainous grasslands in alpha‐diversity and conservation value, yet remain compositionally distinct. Generalized linear models (GLMs) showed three key habitat predictors shaping multifaceted diversity and community composition: herb/grass height, flowerhead abundance and elevation.
