PASSIVE TORQUE SIMULATION OF SMALL ANGULAR CONTACT BEARING AT HIGH SPEED [PDF]
Description of common ball bearing torque models was presented and adopted to the complex thermo-mechanical model of the high speed spindle. Ball bearing passive torque was measured on the own high-speed spindle design.

Tribo-mechanical properties of graphite/talc modified polymer composite bearing balls
In this study, epoxy resin blended with graphite/talc micro fillers are used to fabricate the composite bearing balls of uniform diameter of 12.7 mm. These bearing balls were tested in four ball test rig for investigation of friction and wear.

Operating limits for acoustic measurement of rolling bearing oil film thickness [PDF]
An ultrasonic pulse striking a thin layer of liquid trapped between solid bodies will be partially reflected. The proportion reflected is a function of the layer stiffness, which in turn depends on the film thickness and its bulk modulus.

ANALYSIS OF DISTRIBUTED DEFECT ON OUTER RING OF BALL BEARING UNDER RADIAL LOAD: A THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL APPROACH [PDF]
The paper reports development of a theoretical model to study vibration characteristics of the ball bearing. The Lagrangian method is adopted to analyse vibrations generated due to circumferential motions of the ball as well as its contact with an inner ...

The effect of lubricant viscosity on the performance of full ceramic ball bearings
As a new high-end bearing product, full ceramic ball bearings are favoured in a variety. However, there have been few studies on the lubrication of full ceramic ball bearings.
