Dynamic multi-scale simulation for evaluating combat effectiveness against aerial threats
The development and assessment of modern weapon systems require efficient and flexible simulation tools. This paper introduces a multi-scale discrete-event simulation framework designed to evaluate the dynamic combat effectiveness of weapon systems. The

Chemical compatibility of energetic metal complexes with polymers by thermal analytical techniques
Energetic metal complexes have been established to be effective combustion catalyst for energetic composites and propellants with improved performance. Chemical compatibility is an important aspect in the development of novel energetic composites which ...

Ultra‐Thin Tow‐Based Discontinuous Composites—Material Overview and Aspirations
Tow‐based discontinuous composites made from ultra‐thin tapes offer outstanding in‐plane mechanical properties. This material, inspired by Nacre, has high volume fraction of tapes exceeding 90 % and allows for quasi‐isotropic material plates less than 100 micrometer in thickness.

Internal Ballistics of a Boron-Containing Solid Fuel Ramjet
The solid fuel ramjet is one of the simplest air-breathing engines, characterized by increased specific impulse. This study focuses on a parametric investigation of the internal ballistics of a boron-containing solid fuel ramjet. A 2-D axisymmetric model

Anion‐exchange doping of conjugated polymers is an effective way to achieve high conductivities. Here, we report over 2000 S cm−1 electrical conductivity for doped P(g3BTTT). In addition, we show that P(g3BTTT) sustains exceptionally high doping levels without any drop in the charge mobility.

Topological insulator–metamaterials integrated with electrically driven terahertz quantum cascade lasers enable parity‐dependent harmonic generation. Bulk‐dominated Bi2Se3 favors third‐harmonic emission at 9.96 THz, whereas topological‐surface‐state‐dominated Bi2Se3, Bi2Te3, and (Bi,Sb)2Te3 generate strong second harmonics near 6.5 THz.
