Preparation and properties of biodegradable bamboo powder/ polycaprolactone composites
Journal of Forestry Research, 2009The bamboo powder/polycaprolactone composites (BPPC) were prepared by torque-rheometer to investigate the effects of recipes and processing conditions on the rheological properties of BPPC. The morphological behavior and mechanical properties of BPPC were also studied. Results showed that the optimum recipe for composite materials is composed of 70% of

Effect of Bamboo Powder on Curing Behaviors of Liquefied Bamboo-Based Resol Resin
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012Differential Thermal Analysis(DTA) and Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) were used to study the effect of Bamboo Powder(BP) on the curing behavior of two types of liquefied bamboo-based resol resin(PBF). DTA analysis shows that the addition of bamboo powder to the PBF resin leads to low temperature and broad peaks in the DTA curves.

Bamboo Powder Liquefaction and Resinification: Application on the Phenolic Foam
Materials Science Forum, 2013Liquefaction products of bamboo powder were obtained by using phenol as liquefier and 3% sulfuric acid as catalyst. Biomass phenolic resin was formed by the reaction of bamboo powder liquefaction product and formaldehyde under alkaline condition. The yield and viscosity of resin prepared under various temperatures and resinification times were studied.

Effects of bamboo powder and rice husk powder conditioners on sludge dewatering and filtrate quality
International Biodeterioration & Biodegradation, 2017Abstract Decreasing sludge moisture content and increasing sludge organic content are the main difficulties encountered in sludge incineration. The use of inorganic lime as a sludge conditioner decreases sludge organic content and increases the concentration of contaminants, which present severe environmental hazards, in the dewatered filtrate. Thus,
