Generalizations of the Lax-Milgram Theorem

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2007
We prove a linear and a nonlinear generalization of the Lax-Milgram theorem. In particular, we give sufficient conditions for a real-valued function defined on the product of a reflexive Banach space and a normed space to represent all bounded linear ...

ON THE ALMOST PERIODIC AT INFINITY FUNCTIONS FROM HOMOGENEOUS SPACES

open access: yesПроблемы анализа, 2018
We consider homogeneous spaces of functions defined on the real axis (or semi-axis) with values in a complex Banach space. We study the new class of almost periodic at infinity functions from homogeneous spaces.

New Generalised Semi‐Analytical Approach for the Multidimensional Nonlinear Collisional Fragmentation Equations

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, Volume 98, Issue 8, Page 980-999, August 2026.
This work aims to develop a generalised and efficient semi‐analytical method that combines the Laplace decomposition method with Pade approximation (LDMPA) to solve multidimensional nonlinear integro‐partial differential equation. For a one‐dimension case, explicit (closed‐form) solutions for the number density functions are derived for the first time.

Choquet and Shilov Boundaries, Peak Sets, and Peak Points for Real Banach Function Algebras

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces and Applications, 2013
Let be a compact Hausdorff space and let be a topological involution on . In 1988, Kulkarni and Arundhathi studied Choquet and Shilov boundaries for real uniform function algebras on . Then in 2000, Kulkarni and Limaye studied the concept of boundaries

Edge‐Length Preserving Embeddings of Graphs Between Normed Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, Volume 112, Issue 4, Page 491-506, August 2026.
ABSTRACT The concept of graph embeddability, initially formalized by Belk and Connelly and later expanded by Sitharam and Willoughby, extends the question of embedding finite metric spaces into a given normed space. A finite simple graph G = ( V , E ) is said to be ( X , Y )‐embeddable if any set of induced edge lengths from an embedding of G into a ...

Binary Structures on Banach Spaces

open access: yesAxioms
The aim of the present work is to give a mathematical underpinning for the use of quasi-probabilities and pseudo-metrics in infinite-dimensional Banach manifolds. The notion of a continuous binary structure is introduced.

Uniqueness for Neumann Problems for Nonlinear Elliptic Equations With Lower Order Terms

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, Volume 299, Issue 8, Page 1956-1982, August 2026.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we prove uniqueness results for weak solutions to a class of Neumann problems, whose prototype is λ(1+u2)(p−2)/2u−div((1+|∇u|2)(p−2)/2∇u)−div(c(x)(1+|u|2)(τ+1)/2)+b(x)(1+|∇u|2)(σ+1)/2=finΩ(1+|∇u|2)(p−2)/2∇u+c(x)(1+|u|2)(τ+1)/2)·n̲=0on∂Ω,$$\begin{equation*} {\begin{cases} {}\lambda {(1+ u^2)}^{(p-2)/2}u-{\operatorname{div}}({(1+|\

Existence of Solution for Two Classes of Quasilinear Systems Defined on a Nonreflexive Orlicz–Sobolev Spaces

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 12, Page 13324-13360, August 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper proves the existence of nontrivial solution for two classes of quasilinear systems of the type −ΔΦ1u=Fu(x,u,v)+λRu(x,u,v)inΩ−ΔΦ2v=−Fv(x,u,v)−λRv(x,u,v)inΩu=v=0on∂Ω$$ \left\{\begin{array}{l}\hfill -{\Delta}_{\Phi_1}u={F}_u\left(x,u,v\right)+\lambda {R}_u\left(x,u,v\right)\kern0.1832424242424242em \mathrm{in}\kern0.3em \Omega ...

Mathematical Analysis and Simulations of a Cancer Model With Interleukins and Delayed Immunotherapy

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 12, Page 13946-13970, August 2026.
ABSTRACT A new system of delayed differential equations for tumor‐immune system interactions is proposed and studied. The system describes the interactions between tumor cells and the immune system at the most aggressive phase of cancer, where tumor cells have developed mechanisms from earlier stages to evade immune responses.

Spectra of some algebras of entire functions of bounded type, generated by a sequence of polynomials

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2019
In this work, we investigate the properties of the topological algebra of entire functions of bounded type, generated by a countable set of homogeneous polynomials on a complex Banach space. Let $X$ be a complex Banach space. We consider a subalgebra $
